Located on the protected shores of Laguna Bay, Hastings Street is a relaxed, pedestrian-friendly thoroughfare. Low-rise and leafy, it is a popular place with visitors who flock to the resort accommodation, cosmopolitan cafes, designer shops and alfresco dining along the length of this wide, paved street.

Swim between the flags in the protected waters of Noosa Main Beach then join the locals for a drink at the surf club, or queue for a gourmet, locally made ice cream.

Shop at boutiques specialising in high-end international fashion labels for the discerning dresser to affordable beachwear, edgy designs, footwear or local creations.

Order a glass of wine or an espresso and find a seat at one of the open-air cafes lining the wide, leafy paved street.

Browse for holiday reading in bookshops, try original and locally designed jewellery and accessories, or wander through commercial galleries.

Follow the boardwalk from Noosa Main Beach into the Noosa National Park. Along the way look out onto Laguna Bay for dolphins and whales, or look up into the trees to spot koalas. The National Park has many popular swimming bays and surfing spots, not to mention a range of walking paths for a short stroll or a longer hike.

Head to Noosa Woods – popular as a venue for outdoor concerts, barbecues and picnics, and an entry point to the quieter Noosa River end of the Main Beach.
